Editing Video

Today I have been fooling around with windows movie maker and have figured out how to go about editing the interview footage. I thought it would be cool to segment the videos into topics, including titles before each segment. For example, one of my interviews, Michael Charnoff, class of 1995, talked about the telecommunications wiring of the campus, which happened the year after he graduated when he was working in admissions. That particular part of the interview would be segmented into a 2 minute clip, that would be embedded in our timeline to the corresponding event. The entire edited version of the video, with all the segmented parts of the interview will be located on the profile section of the website. By organizing the interview into parts based on topic, it should make things more accessible. Now that I have figured out how exactly I am going to edit the footage, my next plan is to get started.

P.S. This is the second time I had to write this blog - mozzilla ate the first version - blah technology
